3 Mudras to Bring Bliss (to your meditation)

Jennifer Partridge

Hi,

I'm Jennifer

Life coach, EFT / Tapping expert, yogi & wellness activist with a wild heart dedicated to support you in living the life of your dreams.

Are you ready to bliss out? Then I have 3 simple mudras just for you, designed to make you a wise ass, a love guru and a super hero!

A mudra is a position of the body, mostly hands that helps influence the energy of your body, mood and optimal expression in life. These mudras are best done in meditation as you both focus on the mudra and relaxing into the energetic impulse it creates in your being.

Gyan Mudra (to be a WISE ASS)
This is a mudra to help increase concentration, memory, reduce sleep disorders and release anger, depression and even headaches. Plus since it centers your mind so much, you may discover new wisdom pouring in… You wise ass!

How to: To perform this mudra, gently join the tip of thumb and the index finger, while the other three fingers are simply stretched out or free & slightly bent.

Anahata Chakra Mudra (to be a LOVE GURU)
You want more love in your life, heal a broken heart, discover compassion for yourself and others. Give this mudra to become a love guru a go!  Anahata Chakra Mudra.

How to: Sit cross-legged (or any easy seated position), bring the base of the palms together at the heart center, touching the thumbs and pinky fingers together. Spread the rest of the fingers out like the lotus flower opening toward the sunlight. Close your eyes and take several deep, long breaths.

Apan Mudra (to be a SUPER HERO)
This mudra is awesome if you want to power up and boost your energy. It is said to both clear out toxins while promoting inner peace and harmony! It is also said to be of benefit to dental health and can even prevent us from vomiting because it regulates digestion and helps the digestive system to relax.

How to: While sitting in a meditative position, bring your hands in front of you and bend the middle and ring finger and thumb so that their tips touch each other.Your index and little finger should be pointing straight. The Apan Mudra is usually performed with both hands.

Try these mudras in meditation for 10 minutes each when starting out.  Let me know how you feel in the comments below and give us a thumbs up if you like the video.

Super Heros unite!
