What if I told you that FEAR was a gift?
What if I said your FEARS could actually be a GATEWAY to your dreams?
Guess what? THEY CAN BE.
I know: everything feels really, really scary right now.
Even I feel scared at times, and I’m one of the most positive people I know!
(Don’t get me wrong: it’s great to be positive! But sometimes, it’s equally great, better even, to be real.)
This is especially true if you’ve gotten in the habit of pretending that your fears aren’t there, or acting like “everything is fine” even when you’re scared, sad, or lonely.
(Or in the middle of a global pandemic….)
But here’s the thing: when we acknowledge our fears, rather than push them away
We Tap into VULNERABILITY. And this is POWER.
Vulnerability is how we transform fear into freedom.
When we are vulnerable, we stop hiding from our fears and we look at them right in the eye and say “Okay fears, I see you!”
Vulnerability is great because it leads to strength, connection, empowerment and compassion for yourself and the outside world.
And so even when things feel scary, or hopeless, or you can’t shake your “why me” attitude…
Try to do the following:
💕 look at your fears knowing that other people also feel a similar way.
💕 know they are temporary.
💕 trust that they are teaching you something profound and beautiful.
💕 Hold your fears with love, as if it were a scared child.
