Create Safety in Times of Fear

Why is it that safety sometimes feels SOooooo hard to find??

There are some moments in life… (Like pandemics and riots for example… ) where we can feel totally unsafe.

And when we feel unsafe, we often either bottle ourselves up and hide from the rest of the world

… or we act out of rage, anger and defense.

Yet, no matter how we cope with it, the feeling of being unsafe lingers, or gets worse.

We all want to feel safe inside…

Here are some signs that you may be looking for your own safety:

💖 Someone or something feels threatening to you.

💖 You fear someone or something threatening may happen.

💖 You’re concerned someone will take advantage of you.

💖 You’re afraid of what other people will think.

💖 There are opportunities that feel too risky to take.

💖 You are avoiding communication in case you are attacked.

If this feels relevant, please know that you are not alone in your fear.

I’ve had many scary moments in life… And the past few months have been especially scary for all of us!

And now with the riots in place, it feels like our world is getting out of control.

I don’t pretend to compare myself to others… I know that often my fears are a drop in the pond compared to others fears.

Yet the truth is;

We all deserve to feel safe in our own skin.

We all deserve to be free, honored and sacred.

And the pendulum will bounce back and forth until we truly find equality.

We can’t remove all of the scary things in life… But we can help strengthen our own inner power.

One of the first ways to do that is to go inward and look directly at your fears
