How Relaxation Leads to Success

“If we relax, we are NOT being productive…”
How often have you had that thought???
I think MANY of us have that thought OFTEN.
Maybe you’re incredibly driven and ambitious ⚡️ (I can relate)…
Which can often lead to working long hours, sacrificing our sleep, and overexerting ourselves.
This can be exhausting, and INCREDIBLY frustrating if you aren’t seeing any tangible results!
Perhaps some relaxation may help? Here are some signs you need to relax:
One – You aren’t getting the results you want.
Two – You’ve tried everything but NOTHING is working!
Three – Your friends and coworkers think you are grumpy…
Four – You’re experiencing massive feelings of stress and frustration.
Five – It feels like there is simply not enough time in the day.
Six – You spend your days dreaming of the moment when you can finally relax.
I have been in this place, one to many times…. I was working looooong hours, and spending my days rushing from meeting to meeting.
By the time I would get home, I would collapse into bed and fall straight asleep.
I felt like I had no “me time” and I really wanted to succeed in my work…
So I tried going to the gym early while attempting to take on more work projects… But all of that left me even MORE exhausted.
That’s when I decided to try something totally out of the ordinary: I RELAXED.
See, when we relax, we allow our brains to press the RESET button.
We stop pushing and pushing… And instead, we rejuvenate ourselves so that we can tackle our work with a clear head and kind heart.
For me, this looked like reading books… Doing yoga… And just generally taking it easy!
Because I relaxed, I was able to have more energy, which meant I could approach my work with enthusiasm!
I saw more opportunities and increased my productivity.
Funny how that works, huh???
And we’re going to do the same thing today!
