Support Your Clients to Heal Numbness with EFT Tapping

Are you desiring to support your clients to heal their numbness? If so, then EFT Tapping is such an amazing tool to support.

For me, I was sexually abused at a very young age and as a result have had to do a LOT of innerwork to feel fully safe in my body.

For many years I numbed out the memories of the abuse, pushed them into the background of my subconscious.

Although I had “forgotten” the trauma…

My body remembered it.

My psyche was tormented and confused by it.

It was not until I discovered EFT Tapping that I was able to finally get in touch with the pain and heal those memories.

My own process gave me the clarity to support others in moving through deeper layers of numbness, avoidance, denial and escapism… because yes… I had experienced ALL of them.

If you are supporting others through a transformative process, clearing out their numbness is one of the first steps to deep transformation…

… yet it’s what you do with your clients, friends or family once the numbness is cleared that truly matters.

Because under that numbness is often an avalanche of emotion waiting to be loved, and without the proper tools, you could end up just re-traumatizing someone.

I have developed a very simple process to help someone through melting the numbness and guiding them back into the light of their being.

Take your time and follow these 3 steps while Tapping:

Step 1: Create a container of SAFETY for your clients and loved ones TO FEEL deeply.

You may have them Tap on their chest and say things like:
“I am in a safe place to let go of this numbness” or…

“Even though this numbness is trying to protect me, I am in a safe place to release it now”

Step 2: Process the numbness, by gently giving them permission to open and close the subconscious whenever they want.

You may say things like:
“I can open this up and I can close it whenever I want” or…

“I am safe to look at a small part of this memory today”

Step 3: Once the numbness has cleared, now it’s time to do the inner work, by bringing love, empathy and compassion to EVERY. SINGLE. ASPECT of the pain.

You may say things like:
“Even though _____(Insert the painful part of the memory)____, I am still worthy of love” and/or

“Even though _____(Insert the painful part of the memory)____, I am in safe place to finally let go”
