In my reckless and wild youth, I was out partying, drinking, and DEFINITELY not sleeping enough.

The following day after such a bender I would wake up SMUDGED make-up, crusty lips, cranky, crabby, and NEGATIVE. (Plus the occasional walk of shame!)

VERY FUN to be around.

At that time in my life, I took out my frustration on my friends, family and on MYSELF.

You could smell the negativity on me… I swear.

I was in a massive rut and NEEDED a change… But I didn’t know what that looked like!!


I’m talking..my job, my home, money, friends.

I see now that it was my lack of gratitude that created the desperation I was in, and not the other way around.

I was served a nice dose of humble pie!

And then I finally discovered GRATITUDE!

I stopped my toxic behaviors and negative thinking, and replaced it with APPRECIATION and surprise… an ABUNDANT MINDSET FOLLOWED.


When we see through gratitude, we automatically notice the abundant goodness that is all around.

I know what you’re thinking:

“Jen, I WANT to be more grateful… but it’s just SO HARD those butt heads don’t deserve my gratitude!”

Well, let me tell you… GRATITUDE IS A PRACTICE.

And with practice… you get better and better at loving and honoring YOUR LIFE and YOUR JOURNEY.
